If you are renting, buying or selling property, our screening assessment is an affordable way to determine whether methamphetamine or pre-cursor chemicals are present in your rental property, prospective home, vehicles, boats or caravans.

Also known as a baseline test, meth-management program, indication test or field composite, one of our qualified consultants will visit the property and undertake sampling to see whether contamination is present.

Samples are submitted to IANZ Accredited Laboratory, Hills Laboratories, who provide quantitative results. These results allow us to determine if methamphetamine–related behaviour has occurred within the property. We will then issue a comprehensive report for your property file and guide you on next steps.

If this assessment shows the presence of methamphetamine, we recommend that a Detailed Assessment is completed.

All our assessments and investigations comply with the New Zealand Guidelines for the Testing and decontamination of methamphetamine-contaminated properties (NZS 8510:2017).

Environmental Management Program

This is a cost-effective tailored solution for property investors, property managers, holiday rental managers or a person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU).

We add your property to our Environmental Management Program and provide scheduled 3, 6 or 12 monthly methamphetamine screening tests, ongoing support and comprehensive reporting.
